Policy Recommendations for STEAM
Recommendations for enhancing STEAM education at local, national, and EU levels
Background
The Road-STEAMer consortium is committed to promoting STEAM education across formal and non-formal educational settings, with particular attention to the secondary-to-tertiary education intersection.
This participatory space presents the Policy Recommendations for STEAM, which represents the culmination of the Road-STEAMer project's work in identifying policy gaps and needs in the field of STEAM education within Europe. These recommendations are designed to align with the EU's broader educational and societal goals, emphasising interdisciplinary learning, inclusivity, and alignment with labour market demands.
In addition to the recommendations, the project team is currently working on the STEAM Roadmap (version 1 due in April, version 2 by August 2025), which is the core output of the project, as well as on a toolbox for STEAM education (due May 2025).
